ARE MIRACLES REALISTIC ?

MIRACLE: an unusual and mysterious event that does not follow the usual laws of nature.

Often I am told that I am not realistic because of my unwavering hope that something good will happen to me and my belief in my Heavenly Father always coming to my rescue.

Miracles! We have all heard of miracles, and we all know someone who has experienced them, but is it realistic to believe in them?

The ultimate sceptic may find this interesting, I am going to try and appeal to your logic.

If miracles are possible, then they wouldn't be called miracles. The very definition of a miracle is to make the impossible - possible.

As Christians we cling on to many Scriptures, but when thinking of miracles I personally look to this one Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Now for the logic - if we understand the principal of gravity, and how what goes up must come down, for every action there is an opposed equal reaction, then what are our prayers? Our very thoughts are an action. They are transmitting energy by even the smallest amount of brainwave activity, is there no consequence for them? If a Butterfly flap in Germany can cause a monsoon in the Amazon Rain forest, how much can our prayers effect one another?

The standards to where you place your impossible is up to each individual, most realists tend to rely on themselves rather than God. As a realist myself I do what I can, and what I cant, I have a magnificent hope that my Heavenly Father wont let me down, because He Never Has! The only times I have felt let down, was when I was denied something I thought I wanted but didn't realise, it wasn't good for me at that time. I pondered and realised as parents we protect our children from the things they cant see that may hurt them, just like our Heavenly Father protects us. Sometimes unanswered prayers, are answered, but the answer isn't what you want to hear.

Seeking Heavens Will - understanding what the Creator of the Universe wants and aligning yourself with Kingdom Goals. Ultimately, I think, first and foremost is, God wants to Love you. That is the very first thing I have found is a Kingdom Goal - the Infinite Value of the One - and you are the One - He is the One. Loving the Ones He has placed around you is a great display of the Kingdom of Heaven.

And what is Love without Freedom? Choosing to seek Him on your own merit shows that you love Him, because He is always seeking you and He loves us. Our Heavenly Father is always there, like free wifi waiting for your call just to see how you're feeling, how your life's going, He wants to help you, like all parents do. We all want to help our children. It's our instinct to help them. They are our legacy and our future. We are His legacy and since time has no standing with infinity, we are and have always been His treasure.

I find logic in this - my hope is energy, my prayers are energy and the way I choose to perceive God is Good. You risk nothing by hoping and dreams are free - so choose good ones.
